We send billions to israel because the US government is run by PROTESTANTS. Protestants honestly believe in the return of christ….yes, they think jesus will fly down from the sky and slay the unholy, then take all the good little people to heaven while the earth burns to a cinder.
As a result of this fandom of revelations, They want to make sure israel is safe, because it is the conduit for Jesus return. If the evil arabs end up owning israel, jesus won't come back!!! Can't have that.
So thank your local pastor for your tax dollars ending up in the jewish state.

Incredible that the arguments in favor of providing billions of dollars to foreign countries (i.e. Israel) at the expense states within the US going broke are that other countries (i.e. Palestine, Egypt, etc) are getting money also. How about a little common sense and going with something that is surprisingly out-of-the box (although common sense suggests it shouldn't be)…..stop giving money to foreign countries at the expense of America, period! Stop sending money abroad and start using it at home. America was never meant to be an empire and the genius's that keep pushing this expensive foreign interventionist agenda are making this once proud nation go broke.
I say lets let Israel, Palestine, Egypt and everyone else fend for themselves and sort out their own problems. Let's focus on improving the lives of Americans at home and avoid the ridiculous argument that this foreign meddling provides that quality of life at home….no thinking person who has correctly judged history can possibly believe that argument.
Long live common sense!

When I see equal complaints about the billions America gives to other countries, then I'll know I'm not just reading drivel by anti-Semites.
When I see equal protests about the apartheid policies of Jordan and Saudi Arabia–and the Palestinians–who refused to allow Jews to become citizens, then I'll know I'm not just reading the comments of idiots.

What the hell are you talking about? We the people of America don't want to give them the money we don't have, so yes, it is definitely our business you filthy over magnet. I am free and I don't want to keep giving my tax dollars to Jews!

I can tell you why.. America is filled with too many Christan who believe Israel are the chosen people of god.. Just think of all the money people like Pastor John Hagee collects every year…. these people who donate their money are the same people begging for Armageddon …

And not that I agree with them, but it is none of your business what or who Free people give their money to. Not to mention that is a straw man argument you are making, and therefore invalid.

California is in the mess it is because they have been infighting for over a decade on budget cuts versus raising taxes. Add to that the down turn and they got caught with the proverbial pants down. The Fed shouldn’t be bailing California out they have behaved worse than the banking system. If I spend more than I have for ten years straight are you gonna bail me out?

We send more money to the Palestinians than all of the Muslim nations combined! That’s not counting the 100’s of billions to Egypt, or Kuwait. Add it all up and we give less to the Israels and the reason, the real reason.
They are the only stable Democracy in the Middle East. The only ally we can count on in the region not to stab us in the back because we don’t follow their religious beliefs.

A very strong argument can be made that US aid sent to Arab countries (like Egypt) is "hush money" to prevent the region from exploding into another war zone.

Israel's relationship with America is a completely parasitic one – and Israel is the parasite. The sooner the USA removes the parasite, the better.

1. The sum of the money that the surrounding Arab countries receive is equal to the amount that Israel receives.
2. Most of this money is specifically given to all these countries only for buying military products from American firms. So the Military Complex has as much to do in this as AIPAC and the Evangelical Christians has.
Censoring that guy on the video was a shameful and cowardly act. And just so you know, as an Israeli (and many Israelis will agree I am sure), I think that this money is more harmful than helpful – it helps create an artificial situation where Israel and the Arab countries have much more money than they would have otherwise to spend on their armies, therefor prolonging the conflict and supplying its economical means.
I hope you STOP the cash flow. You should check out JStreet, it is a much more rational and honest group than AIPAC.
